We live in a culture that is profoundly shaped by what we see and listen to. Hollywood knows that visual images are powerful messengers. If they can make them 3-D, so much the better. Blockbuster movies do more than make money. They communicate powerful ideas & culturally shaping perspectives that mold the thinking of this generation. Sadly, some people believe everything they see. Others try to weigh the message, looking for kernels of truth. Many struggle with becoming increasingly desensitized to what is “true, noble & right.” What none of us can afford to do, is to ignore the blockbuster messages being communicated to this generation. The purpose of this series is to show you how to develop a biblical world view that filters the powerful cultural ideas found in blockbusters, through the filter of God’s eternal truth.
